On a Saturday night, when you are lying low and watching Tv … if you stop for a second and think if there is a place where u can get cheap 5$ mojitos and see some photoshop magic and get inspired with music, art and fashion.. then maybe jus maybe you can get out to Be Bar (a predominantly gay bar) but just when X hosts events its not limited to the gays but all design lovers.

Me and Sundar went there tonite, along came Alisa, Doug, Dwayne and Lisa. Ofcourse when there is so many of us, its definitely gonna be fun.. But me and Alisa, the DCDB had to take care of some work.. We had some DCDB flyers to give out and meet some people who run this thing. We have decided to cross promote each other and let live …

I love those guys anyway.. They are so much fun and I love their events. I have taken a video of the new-age belly dancer, and I will post it soon.

I stumbled upon a site called Life in the district , its a site by Jason Novak, he is a writer, photographer, and web developer living in Adams Morgan.

I think the site looks very clean, sophisticated, they might have started it pretty recently so the amount of articles thats in there are less and there are some kinks that they have to work out.

Like an Archives page is missing and they have to provide better support with login and users. I created a login but was not directed to the right page and I was left no where..Maybe they are working on these bugs.. And there are articles with closed comments ?!?!

Having said all that I still see a great addition to our Dc city guide blogs.. I read Daily candy almost every week esp. their Thursday guide to the weekend.. So Litd can speed really well and try to compete with daily candy. who knows/ Jason sounds like a young guy, (correct me if I am wrong, but thats what I am guessing with your style of writing) and he can do it.

Flixwagon is a site that lets you to broadcast video using your mobile phone device. They recently announced their app for iphone which will release on Jul 11. You infact can also twitter your broadcasts.. I am waiting.
